If you’re looking for something that’s easy and different to add to your holiday dinners, give this recipe a try. Our family has loved it for years! It’s so much better than traditional pumpkin pie and it serves a lot of people. The recipe is below – and you can either top it with Cool Whip or make homemade whipped cream. We’ve also served it with ice cream.
Set your oven to 350, grab a 9×13 pan and get started!
Ingredients
- 6 eggs (slightly beaten)
- 1 large can of pumpkin (29 oz)
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon clove
- 2 cups of evaporated milk (1 large can)
- 1 box of yellow cake mix (for topping)
- 1 stick of melted butter (for topping)
Instructions
Mix everything except the butter and cake mix together in a bowl. Put it in a 9×13 pan.
Take the melted butter and combine it with the yellow cake mix. It’ll be crumbly. Take the mixture and crumble it on top of the pumpkin mixture.
Bake it at 350 degrees for 55 minutes – and you’re done!
